Caregiver Support
Parenting a child or teen who is struggling with their mental health can be overwhelming. Caregivers are often left with questions, uncertainty, and a deep desire to help, but are often unsure where to turn for answers.
As a child clinical psychologist, I offer dedicated support to caregivers seeking clarity, confidence, and connection in navigating their child's emotional and behavioural challenges.

Together, we will work to:

-
Build a meaningful understanding of your child’s current difficulties
-
Explore practical, evidence-based strategies to support their emotional and behavioural needs
-
Strengthen and maintain a trusting, connected relationship with your child
-
Support your own well-being and confidence as a caregiver
-
Navigate collaboration with schools, healthcare providers, or other supports, when needed

Whether you're looking for guidance on day-to-day parenting strategies or support in managing a specific concern like anxiety, selective mutism, or behavioural difficulties, caregiver-focused sessions can be a powerful tool in your child’s healing and growth.

Consultation
I offer specialized consultation services for community clinicians working with children and youth with selective mutism. Drawing on extensive clinical training and experience with evidence-based approaches, l provide guidance on assessment, treatment planning, and intervention strategies for this form of anxiety that requires thoughtful and individualized care. My approach is tailored to the developmental, familial, and cultural context of each child, with the goal of supporting clinicians in delivering effective and compassionate care.

In addition to selective mutism, I am also available for consultation on a range of child and adolescent mental health concerns, including anxiety, low mood, behavioural challenges, and parent-focused interventions.

Consultations may be one-time or ongoing, depending on the needs of the clinician or team.
